Why Should Humans Keep Moving

The human body is personally required in all  points of thought, comprehension, feelings and basic leadership. Being stagnant, many people hesitate to push themselves to maintain the stability of the human body.

In today’s fast pace world of advancements, many people – specially the people of IT, tend to work for hours by just sitting in front of their screens clicking on  their mouse and keyboards, reducing their physical movements. This inactivity often ends up producing negative results on health side. According to a biological study, sitting idle or inactive for a period of time, is devastating to one’s well being. It effectively advances various chronic diseases incorporating being over-weight, regardless of the possibility that you’re exceptionally fit.

Now to avoid being inactive all day, the first thing that comes up to all our minds is – exercising. Perhaps, when one thinks of doing exercises, many imagine of the high frequency, sweat-soaked and exceedingly exhausted physical exercises!! But before that one must always keep in mind a well-known fact that goes like – Exercise is Optional, and Movement is Essential.

Remember that, exercise is just a part of movement. The secret is found to be the various little movements we do, that maintains a holistically healthy body as a whole.

Besides knowing the fact of being active throughout, one must know the harm and ill effects of being inactive. Only then, will one  start pushing herself/himself up. Sitting for a long time on a regular basis, will end up being a free hazard  factor for weakness. It causes weight gain, joint problems, hypertension, depression, anxiety etc.

In order to reduce these  ill effects, Some of the common and easy movements that can be done are:

  • Reduce the time being seated in chairs
  • Make movement a priority
  • Play, whenever you have time
  • Research and find the best movement practice for you

Above all, make walking a part of your daily routine – which is the most simplest and cheapest physical movement, everyone can follow. The movement is primarily linked to each and every function. The various benefits of constantly being active and moving are:

  • Mood and stress reduction
  • Maintaining body weight
  • Induces improper sleep
  • Boosts strength through the joints
  • Prevention of diseases – cardiovascular, immunity, digestion and so on.

As proportion to the rate of physical movement being increased, the health hindrances get reduced to a maximum level.
